There is a difference between an Effective process and an Efficient process.
When we are looking at improving or developing a new process for our clients, we first focus on the effectiveness and then we look at efficiency.
You can streamline a process as much as you want; however, if that process does not yield the desired results, all you are getting is undesirable results at a faster rate. Also, an efficient process does not save a company money if the process in itself is not effective. It is a useless process that is in place.
PSM Advisor takes a holistic approach in mapping a process to a desired result. First and foremost we drive to the answer of the question “Will this help you achieve XYZ result?”
If NO, then we design it for most impact as the priority with efficiency in mind. If NO, then we cut it out and do not spend any more resources on it.
